SOUTH SEA CULTURED PEARLS




South Sea Pearls have been among one of the most sought after exotic gems of the sea. South Sea cultured pearls are larger and more lustrous than other varities, making them rare and more desirable. South Sea cultured pearls are found in the south seas near the northwest coast of Australia, Indonesia, Burma, Phillipines and around Southeast Asia. South Sea cultured pearls are born from the Pinctada Maxima oyster and are generally between 8 and 15 mm in size, however they can grow in excess of 20 mm. Its colrs range from Silvery White, Pinkish White through Champagne to deep Golden.
